SAFE Scholarship Program
Investing in the Community's Future
The Selah Alliance for Equality (SAFE) offers an annual $7,500 scholarship to two graduating seniors or recent GED recipients living within the Selah School District. This one-time award supports post-secondary education at trade schools, community colleges, or four-year universities.
You must be a current high school senior (or) have earned a GED within the past six months & reside within the boundaries of the Selah School District. You must be planning on attending an accredited higher education institution beginning no later than the fall following your graduation.

SAFE is proud to uplift students who demonstrate a commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging. Whether you’ve faced adversity, championed justice, or supported marginalized communities, your story matters.
How Recipients Are Chosen
All applications are scored blindly by a diverse panel of SAFE board members. The top two applicants will each receive a $7,500 scholarship, sent directly to their higher education institution.
