What does SAFE do?
SAFE participates in community organizing, partnering with other organizations to help connect the community with needed services. Additionally, SAFE provides annual scholarships to underrepresented youth with aspirations of higher education.
How can I get involved?
SAFE is involved in many different community organizing events. Message us on social media or send us an email about events you can get involved in to help make a different in our community.
Who is eligible for the scholarship?
In order to be eligible for SAFE’s scholarship, you must be a graduating senior in high school (or) have recently obtained your GED in the last 6-months; you must have residence within the Selah School District; and you must be attending a higher education institution (trade school, community college, or university). Previous scholarship winners will not be eligible.
Does SAFE validate volunteer records?
Yes! As an official 501(c)(3), SAFE has the authority to sign off on any volunteer hours or documentation you might have for community service or on your resume.
